Death Notice - Biaggi, Mario passed away Wednesday, June 24th at his Bronx home at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Marie. Mario Biaggi was elected to Congress as a Democrat in 1968 after a highly decorated career in the New York Police Department. His survivors include his four children: Jacqueline, Barbara, Richard, and Mario Jr.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Reposing Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave,  Bronx.  Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 1st at 9:45 am at St. Philip Neri's Church, 3025 Grand Concourse Bronx NY. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America or National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund in Washington DC would be greatly appreciated.
