Rooney, Kevin "Calvin" on January 22, 2017.  Dear son of Kathleen ( nee O'Driscoll) and Francis Rooney.  Adored husband of Vaneza (nee Paulino).  Cherished father of Jasmin.  Dear brother of Frank and loving uncle of Ava and Violet. A loyal friend to many.   Kevin served as a member of the NYPD 2000-2004 andwas a 9/11 responder with the 33rd Pct.  Kevin went on to serve the FDNY since 2004 , with Engine 42.   Reposing Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home , 6110 Riverdale Ave., Bx.  Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:30 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church.  Committal to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
