Pio Consani passed away peacefully on the evening of July 28, 2020 in Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY.  Born on June 11, 1935 in Lucca, Italy, he was the son of the late Carlo and Pia (Salani) Consani.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55+ years, Gloria (Fresno) Consani, who passed away on August 1, 2017.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was Catholic, and was active in the St. Gabriel parish, and thoroughly enjoyed singing in the choir and serving on the Parish Council for many years.  Pio was devoted to his family and is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Mark and his wife Kristin; John and his wife Kerry; and grandchildren Jake, Luke, Erik, and Kaylee.  He is survived by his sister in law, Angela, his niece, Anna, and nephew, Michael.

Reposing Friday, July 31, 2020 from 2 – 6 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY.  Mass of Christian Burial 10am, Saturday, August 1 at St. Gabriel Church.  Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne NY.
