James Edward “Doc” Watson, born December 6, 1950, died suddenly on September 5, 2020, of natural causes. Beloved son of the late Susan and Wilbur (“Chick”), loving husband of the late Clarissa, dear brother and friend of the late Michael, and devoted son-in-law of the late Catherine Thomas, Jim is survived by his baby brother Kevin (Claudia); nephews and niece Charles, Peter, and Eleanor; Sheena Figueroa, who was like a daughter to him; and innumerable friends.

A brilliant billiards player, avid sportsman, and enthusiastic traveler, Jim truly enjoyed his retirement. He was kind, generous, and protective of those he loved.

A memorial will be held at a later date when it is safe to celebrate his life in the way he deserves.
