Martin (Matt) Moran, a resident of Bronx, New York and native of Brize Claremorris, Co. Mayo, Ireland, passed away peacefully at home in the care of his loving family, after a long illness. He proudly served his country in the US Army. 

Predeceased by his parents Michael & Nora Moran and his sister Mary Brennan. Matt will be sadly missed by his loving wife Peggy, devoted children Eileen and Michael, son-in-law Martin, and grandchildren Caitlin and James. He is survived by his brothers Michael John (Brize, Mayo) and Jimmy (Brize, Mayo), also his sister Bridie Kenny (Clontarf, Dublin), sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Matt leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish his memory.

Reposing Thursday 4-7 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 9:45 is at St. Margaret of Cortona Church with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven.
