Carmel McHugh (nee Kelly), Bronx, New York, formerly Dublin, Ireland. passed away on September 18, 2021 after a long illness and being cared for at home by her loving family. She will be greatly missed by her devoted and loving husband, Liam, her heartbroken children, Michael, Peter, John and Martina, her daughter-in-law, Kathleen, her cherished granddaughters, Doireann and Pauline, her sisters-in-laws, Mary J. Fahy, Dunmore, Co. Galway, Mau McHugh, Galway City and Mary Cunningham, Tuam, Co. Galway and her brother-in-law, Bernie McHugh, Fort Lee, New Jersey and her many nephews, nieces and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace with her parents, brothers and sisters.

Reposing Thursday, September 23rd from 2 to 5 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret of Cortona Church on Friday, September 24th at 9:45 am, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY.
