Robert "Bob" Jubin
ROBERT “BOB” JUBIN - Beloved son, brother, companion and friend.
Bob was born August 26 1933 to Walter and Alice [Almond] Jubin. He graduated from Rice High School and attended the Art Students Art League of New York.
Bob served in the United States Army for three years and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.
Bob and his brother, Walter, ran an interior design business in Dallas, Texas, where they created and marketed museum-quality plaster reproductions of a range of decorative items and sculptures.
Bob was a retired film editor, former owner and principal film editor of several enterprises, including Jubin Ltd, Burning Concepts and Firebrand Productions – all of them film production companies specializing in television production or in trade union productions.
Bob was a massive jazz music enthusiast and lover of opera. He enjoyed attending live musical performances and collecting concert CDs/DVDs and was also fond of travelling.
Bob was an active member of the Community Council for many years.
After a brief hospitalization and illness, Robert passed away on February 13, 2022.
Bob was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Walter.
Bob is survived by his long-time companion, Rosalinda Levitsky.
There will be no wake or funeral services.
