It is with great sadness that the family of Claire I. Meisenbacher loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother announces her passing at home in Tenafly, New Jersey on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at the age of 87. Claire was born to Thomas and Claire I. Ganley in Harrison, NJ. She graduated Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Newark, NJ in 1952. Claire resided in Middlesex, NJ for many years where she proudly and devotedly raised her seven children. Claire was an avid reader and enjoyed taking long walks. She walked 6 miles on her 80th birthday!

Claire is preceded in death by her twin sister, Margaret (Peggy) Ganley and brother, Thomas Ganley. 

She is survived by her children, Raymond Jr. and his wife Ellen, Luke and his wife Lisa, Peggy C. Tallier and her husband Joseph, Thomas and his wife Mary Ann, Patrick and his wife Tsuey-Ping, Lisa K. Meisenbacher, Mark and his wife Kirsten, sister Mary Ganley Johnson, twenty three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday June 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Society of African Mission Catholic Church (SMA) 23 Bliss Avenue Tenafly, NJ 07670 celebrated by Father Dermot Roache, SMA Director. Burial services will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington NJ.
