John F. Casey, 79, of Riverdale, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 20, 2023. 

John was born in the Bronx, New York on July 10, 1944. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Gertrude Casey and brother Peter Casey (Maureen). He is survived by brothers, James Casey and Francis Casey, sister Eileen Casey (Judy) and nephews, Peter John “PJ” Casey and Kevin Casey (Kelly).

John was a proud Vietnam veteran who later continued his service towards his country and will be greatly missed.

The wake honoring John’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 25th from 3-7pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, New York. The funeral will take place on Thursday, October 26th at 10:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. The burial will be at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, New York.
