Joseph Stern - Passed away on June 9, 2023. Joe was born on September 14, 1949, beloved son of Robert and Mildred Stern. He was raised in Riverdale in the Bronx. Joe attended St Margaret of Cortona elementary school in Riverdale, NY, Portsmouth Abbey School in Rhode Island and Columbia University in Manhattan, NY.

Joe is survived by siblings, Alain Stern, Zachary Stern, Mary Haugh and Catherine Zubrovich. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

A wake will be held at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home located at 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Parking available 1/2 block south (North End of Lot) at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret of Cortona Church located at 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 9:45 AM. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
