Mario Torres, 59 Passed away June 16th 2023 unexpectedly after having spinal surgery at the Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. He was born on December 5th 1963 in Cali, Colombia to mother, Maria Luisa Moreno De Torres, and father, Gabriel Torres. Upon moving to the US in 2000, Mario began working in construction until 2021 when he suffered the accident that eventually led to his unfortunate passing. He loved his family very much, and is survived by his wife and life partner, Olga Ibarra, his daughters, Gaby and Natalia, his two Grandsons Julian and Jordan who were the light of his life, his mother Maria Luisa, his siblings; Graciela, Gabriela, Martha and Nofal, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Olga and Mario married on the 20th of December in 1986, and created a beautiful family that will honor his name forever. He was loved, and loved his family and friends dearly. Mario truly treated everyone as family, and let everyone know that they could always count on him. Funeral Services will be held starting at 8:30am, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave, Bronx NY. Mass to follow at St. Margaret of Cortona Church.
