Isabel Pickett, age 66, of the Riverdale Section of the Bronx, NY, passed away on April 12, 2024. She was born on November 2, 1957.

A quiet and kind person with dynamic inner strength, Isabel was known for her ethical and selfless nature. She was an avid reader, swimmer, and civic minded person.  Isabel had a long career as an Executive Assistant to the Editor in Chief and CEO of Reuters America. She was a Rudin Service award winner for creating the Single Parent Network for single parents in the Bronx.  She also served in various roles and responsibilities for the SGI Buddhist Organization in the Northern Bronx.  She attended St. Margaret of Cortona primary school, Walton High School, and SUNY Brockport for higher education.

Isabel is survived by her husband Todd, daughters Carlyn and Sheila, son James, sisters Eileen, Sheila, Rose, Patty, Ann, brothers Joe and Ramon. She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen, father Ramon, and sister Maria.

Reposing will be Friday 2-6 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, Inc. located at 6110 Riverdale Ave, Bronx, NY 10471. Committal private.
