Ana Elvia Ramirez Lenis - A beloved mother, grandmother and wife. Loved by all her relatives, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Ana was born in Colombia, May 23, 1943 where she had to leave school at the age of eight years old to help support her family by working in the fields, planting and harvesting crops such as coffee, sugar cane, citrus fruits and many more. In her early twenties Ana moved to the United States and continued working numerous jobs and eventually met her future husband William Lenis. They married in February 9, 1973 and two years later their first son Edward was born, three years later their second son Steve was born. Together they raised their family in the Washington Heights section of NYC where she was loved by neighbors and friends. Ana was a very religious and God fearing woman who instilled her hard work and religious ethics onto her two sons and she can be described as a caring, nice, loving woman who never had a negative thing to say about anyone. Ana will be missed by everyone who knew her. God has truly gained an angel to be with him.  May she rest in peace, we will always love you.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2-7 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, Inc. located at 6110 Riverdale Ave, Bronx, NY 10471. Committal private.
