Matt was a loving husband and an amazing father. He loved working as a Corrections Officer at Rikers Island. He boxed professionally himself and then used his skills to teach others as a boxing trainer and manager. Matt then started a whole new career as a Social Worker where he focused on helping at-risk youth. Matt was devoted to his children. He coached their sports teams and was always their biggest fan. His whole life was devoted to helping other people. The presence of him could fill a room, and his loss is immense. The impact he has had on others will live on forever.
