Peter C. Devitt of Riverdale, NY passed away peacefully on October 4, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 69. Dedicated member of Local #3 IBEW and native of Brooklyn NY. Beloved husband of Pat (nee McDonnell). Loving and devoted father of Patricia (Michael), Peter (Tracy) and Mary Ellen (Edward). Loving and proud grandfather of Ciara, Brenna, Leighton, and Evan. Dear and caring brother of Margaret ( Peggy) and the late James and John. Loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. Reposing Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave., Bx. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
