Gloria T. Mutchler, 96 passed away Thursday afternoon December 13, 2018. Beloved mother of Marie, John & Ruth, and adored grandmother of five grandchildren. Gloria was born in Bay Ridge, New York and was an only child. She married Howard Mutchler in 1955 and settled down in Riverdale N.Y. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Howard. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, December 17th at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, NY 10471 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the American Heart Association or Bancroft.org.
Gloria was a devout parishioner of St. Margaret’s Church, and was known for her loving relationships with family, friends and neighbors. Her favorite saying was “the time is now, the place is here, and the WAY is to make others happy.” She will be remembered for her unyielding devotion to God and her family, her sharp intellect and wit, and her commitment to living life to the fullest.
