Our beloved husband, father, and brother Bob Robinson passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2019 at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife Marianne, sister Sister Stephanie Robinson, OP of the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt, and daughter Mee-Lise. Bob was a gentle and compassionate man who was devoted to his family and sensitive to the plight of those living in poverty.

Obsessed with art since the age of 3, Bob nurtured his love of painting, etching, and discovering new art techniques through his graduation from Parsons School of Design and continued education at The New School, the Art Students League of New York, Pratt Institute, and the Sorbonne and over a 30-year career in Advertising as an Art Director. Over the past 12 years, he was a member of the Riverdale Art Association.

Bob loved listening to music, visiting the ocean at Montauk, and watching PBS with his family. He was passionate about politics and in love with the natural world.

The wake will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 3-7 pm, followed by a private committal on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to water.org.
