Michael Anthony Sullivan

July 28, 2019 Jeffrey Wiecek
MichaelSullivan2.jpg

Michael Sullivan was born on July 31, 1964. He was the son of the late Patrick and Bridget Sullivan (née Carrigan). Michael was born and raised in Washington Heights and graduated from All Hollas High School.

Michael briefly served in the United States Navy and spent his adult years working in the hotel industry in Miami Florida with his latest job as a doorman in a New York City luxury building.

He was a huge rock and roll fan and also enjoyed baseball, football and boxing. Those who knew Michael would agree that he was blunt and to the point and fun to be around.  He was also the type of person who would help any friend in need and would give you the shirt off his back if you ask (better yet he was the type that you would not have to ask he would just do it).

Michael death was completely unexpected and we can take comfort in knowing that he is now with his parents in heaven and watching over us all.

Michael leaves behind his brothers James, Patrick and John, his sister Margaret, his aunt, Mary Carrigan, his niece Joanna and two grand nephews.  He also leaves behind a host of cousins and close friends.

Reposing Thursday 4-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue at West 261st Street, Bronx,  NY.  Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY.  Interment at  St. Raymond’s Cemetery.
