Loftus, Terence J died on August 23, 2019. Born on August 12th 1944, beloved son of the late John and Anna. Dear brother of the late, Jimmy, Jack, and Gerry. Survived by his loving wife Janet (Ryan) of 54 yrs, and two sons Brendan and Matthew. Adored grandfather of Callie, Dylan, Jake, Ryan, Jimmy, and Lily.

Terry was a life long Riverdalian. A member of local 147 Tunnel workers. For 15+ yrs he worked 800 feet below NYC, and then moved on to local 40 Iron workers, working 800 feet above NYC. He would find his true calling in early retirement, becoming a legendary caddie at the prestigious Winged Foot and Blind Brook Golf Clubs.

Away from golf, his favorite pastimes were following his beloved sports teams. The NY Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Knicks, and of course the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

Terry was a one of a kind, and always left a mark on every person he met. He will be deeply missed .

Reposing Tuesday August 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave., Bx, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
