Elizabeth Mcguire (nee Flannery) passed away peacefully at home on October 7, 2020. Elizabeth was born in Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland to Bridget and James Flannery. She came to New York in 1960. She leaves behind her loving husband Hugh, her nephew Thomas Kuslik and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Mary and her brothers, Michael and John.

Elizabeth and Hugh enjoyed their many years together traveling to Ireland, Cape Cod and Greenport, Long Island. Cross country skiing, ice skating at Bear Mountain and many walks to Wave Hill and the pond in Fieldston in Riverdale were part of the lives they shared together for 53 years.

Elizabeth will always be remembered for her deep faith, her generosity, kindness and concern for others.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Visiting Nurse Service Hospice Care of New York and her amazing care givers Lilly, Katrina, Peggy, Ann and Maggie.
