Msgr. Robert J. McCabe passed away on February 27, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Valentine and Lillian (Cleary) McCabe.

Dear brother of Paul, and the late Thomas and John. Loving uncle of Keith, Laura and Mark; and great uncle of Ethan and Amalia.

Monsignor McCabe was ordained on May 30th, 1964 and his career as a Priest spanned over 50 years. The last parish he served was St. Mary's Church of Haverstraw, NY.

Reposing Thursday, March 6, from 9-11 am at the St. John Vianney Clergy Residence Chapel, 5655 Arlington Ave, Bronx, NY. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
