Born February 12, 1935 in Little Italy (Manhattan) to two Italian Americans; Vincent and Mary Sabella.
He had two siblings, beloved Googie Nicolo (deceased) and Michael Sabella. All crazy kids from the streets of the lower east side. Larry was a handyman for a commercial building and part of the DC 37 union.
On June 1, 1969 he married his sweetheart Anna. A few years after, they had their only child, Tara.
Larry always had a heart to help people, give the shirt off his back. He was a big fan of all kinds of music,
doo wop, Italian classics and Frank Sinatra. He really enjoyed sports as well (all NY teams!)
In July 2015, he gave his heart to and accepted Christ as his savior!
He loved his CCOGT church family and enjoyed serving with the maintenance team.
Larry is survived by his precious and adored wife Anna, his beloved daughter Tara and a few nephews and nieces who adored him.
We long to be reunited with Larry in the presence of Jesus one day. 💝
